Meet Sirius. The dog who connects the dots.

He sits beside the stargazer at the bottom of every page, watching the night sky. He’s named after the brightest star up there, and he’s very good at one thing: noticing when something doesn’t belong.

    Named after the Dog Star

    Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. It belongs to Canis Major, the Great Dog, and people have watched for it for thousands of years. Our Sirius has a few stars on his coat too, and a star on his collar that glows when he spots trouble.

    Sirius says: “That’s me up there. The bright one.”

  2. Chapter 2

    One star tells you nothing

    A single star is just a dot. Draw lines between a few of them and a picture appears.
