Muhammad Rizwan is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of StrongestLayer, where he leads the company’s engineering vision and AI-native detection strategy. With a career spanning over 15 years in cybersecurity and large-scale detection systems, Rizwan has deep expertise in building high-performance platforms that protect enterprises against the most sophisticated threats.
Before founding StrongestLayer, Rizwan worked on advanced threat detection technologies at FireEye, where he played a key role in scaling the MVX detection engine—a globally recognized system for identifying advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day attacks. His work gave him first-hand insight into how attackers evolve and why detection systems must adapt in real time.
At StrongestLayer, Rizwan is the architect of the company’s LLM-powered detection stack, combining machine learning, natural language processing, and real-time behavioral analysis to stop AI-generated phishing and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks. He oversees the company’s R&D, engineering teams, and technical infrastructure, ensuring the platform is not only cutting-edge but also enterprise-ready, scalable, and resilient.
Rizwan is widely regarded as an expert in applied AI for cybersecurity, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures. His mission at StrongestLayer is to stay one step ahead of adaptive adversaries by fusing advanced AI research with practical, real-world defenses that enterprises can trust.
